Here is a great opportunity to build resilient future defence systems like drones, next-generation fighter aircrafts, and UAVs that cannot only automatically detect but can also recover from cyber and physical attacks.
I am pleased to announce an upcoming fully funded PhD position at the Centre for Sustainable Cyber Security (CS2), University of Greenwich, which I will lead. The research will focus on developing Resilient-by-design Cyber Physical Systems against Data Integrity Attacks.
This project requires not only strong theoretical foundations but also the demonstration of the developed methodology in a real-time industrial use case. The ideal candidate will have:
The project will be conducted in collaboration with a leading industrial partner, a global supplier to Tier 1 Aerospace, Automotive, and Defence sectors, and will collaborate with the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to applied research in a real-world setting and to join CS2, a vibrant research hub with 50+ researchers and PhD students. The University of Greenwich is proud to be one of only nine UK institutions recognised by the NCSC as an Academic Centre of Excellence in both Cyber Security Research and Education.
Please stay tuned for formal application details that will follow shortly.
